Please be advised that if your Schengen visa application is submitted less than 15 days before your intended date of travel, or if your national visa application is submitted less than 30 days before your intended date of travel, you may not receive a decision on your visa application prior to your departure.

The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in China shall not be liable for any delays that may occur as a result and reserves the right to request additional documents or schedule an interview based on the assessment of your application.

The visa fee paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Please note that the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in China does not provide any form of expedited processing. Do not contact the embassy to request a shorter processing time for your visa application.

Please be advised that starting from 6 November 2025, the Slovakia Visa application Center will only accept the latest version of the Schengen Visa Application Form. Please ensure that you have completed the most recent version of the form in English and Slovakian before submitting your application.

We would like to inform you that walk-in applications are allowed to be accepted when applicants apply for the visa in the Shanghai jurisdiction (Shanghai, Fuzhou, Nanjing and Hangzhou visa application centers included) and Beijing Jurisdiction (Beijing, Guangzhou, Xi’an, Jinan, Wuhan, Chengdu, Kunming, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Chongqing and Changsha visa application centers included).
